Week 1- Texas at Cedar Rapids

Not a game to remember for the Revolution, who just did not look in sync on the offensive end. The Cedar Rapids Titans pressured quarterback Marcus Jackson, not allowing him to find the time nor the rhythm to make the same throws that fans who were at last week’s home game know that he is capable of.

The defense looked a little better at times, but did ultimately give up 29 first half points to the Titans, and 60 total. The highlights of the first half for the Revolution included a pair of interceptions, one apiece by defensive backs Frankie Solomon Jr. and Scooter Rogers.

The offense started to awake after the team returned from the halftime locker room. Justin Siller and Jeremy Brown each caught touchdown passes early in the third quarter to give the Revolution some life, but the Titans offense was just clicking and continued to add to their score.

A late Mon Williams rushing TD to the endzone ended the scoring for the night as the Revolution lost 21-60 in Cedar Rapids. The Revs have a bye week coming up before traveling to Chicago to face the Slaughter on March 17.
